It rained last night and I put down plastic sheeting, but nothing, not a drop. I suppose on Sunday it was exceptionally heavy rain, but it's looking like I'll have to wait and see what happens.  Unfortunately there's no rain forecast for ages in fact they're warning about a heat wave. I'm thinking of phoning the conservatory people to ask about having the seals around the door replaced then if it does get wet out there we'll know it's from the roof.

I had to laugh when you said about no carts, one of our stores had all their smaller ones stolen over Christmas and the thieves left 6 old and battered ones. I don't like the big ones and I couldn't believe it took them about 2 months to get replacements, I suppose it was all to do with insurance.

I like it when Randy lets you sleep in, 6:30 is still the middle of the night for me! I don't get up until 8, mind you I don't go to bed until after midnight.

Hi Janet, I've been to the library so no fines this time. It's not been so warm, just comfortable 68f with 72% humidity. They're saying it will start to get much warmer for the rest of the week.

I've been sorting books from the shelving unit in the conservatory, I've given over 200 hundred to the charity shops, my nieces and the nuns and I still have a box of over 50 on the table and 30 or so in my car. I'm going to take those to the supermarket as they have shelves there and people help themselves and donate money in a charity box. I can't take them all to one shop as they wouldn't cope. I've not finished yet but feel I've made a good start. I reckon by the time I've finished I'll have given away over 500, no wonder I don't have any spare room. lol I will say I have kept some but I have to be brutal or they'll be here forever and the girls will have to sort them out, better I do it now.
