Ty! Gs!

We have a lot of fireworks going off tonight, probably people are doing them now instead of the 5th. I've just remembered I'd best shut my conservatory window or I'll be getting smoke indoors, which I hate.

Since I stayed home I sorted and started another puzzle called Pennies to Spend and will send a picture of the Fading Memories puzzle.

I'm going to try for an early night, I still can't get my body clock right, I hope you do better with your extra hour.

Hi Janet, it started out very wet this morning but did manage to get better this afternoon although it never quite made 50f. Not exactly sunny but at least it got dry. I've not been out except to the bins, to feed the birds and have a look around the garden to see what I can get Alan to do 'if' he comes! The forecast is wind but it should be dry. I'll go out early to do some shopping and be back to see if he arrives.

Like Don I have a root ball of a white camellia. When I had Louise do the garden she cut the shrub down to the ground but couldn't get the root up. It's grown to about 2 foot tall. I liked it but if it rained when it was in bloom the blossom would go brown and fall off, not ideal in our climate. The only good thing about it is that it's an evergreen so this time of the year it looks nice and green.
