I agree about getting rid of things but like you I'm reluctant to do so. I often think they might mean something to me but the girls will have no idea! I've given them most of the family photos which I think are important but do wonder when the boys grown up if they'll be interested. At the moment Sam's eldest had been doing the second world war at school and is fascinated by my dad's story of Dunkirk and then D Day, not that dad ever spoke of it but he did leave a small diary and before she died his older sister Emma told me what she knew. It seems strange that to the boys its ancient history but to me it's in touching distance.

On my way to aunties I had a deer run out across the road in front of me. It went through my mind I can't get one for my easy pot but I can see a real one while driving through the town!

Nick might be home but Sue and Ian are still away. She sent a text last night asking if I'd check to see if a parcel had been left in her porch. When I sent a reply she said they were no longer in York, where they'd gone but had moved to Nottingham, Robin Hood's neck of the woods. I'm not sure if she has any relatives there but I do know it's somewhere they've been before. 

I keep meaning to ask if you've heard how Tyler is getting on, he should be well in to the chemo now.

Hi Janet, it's been another damp day and boy has the wind been cold, it felt like 48 even if it should have been 60 and the wind was so strong. I met Ness at the hall, where a man walked in with over a dozen puzzles, unfortunately I'd done all the wasjigs and I wasn't keen on the others. There was a shortage of people there, usually there's about 40 coming and going but today probably only 2 dozen. It was nice to see Daisy the Newfoundland, her 'mum' had not been bringing her for the last 3 weeks as it's been too warm. She took one look at me and came towing her mum behind her, she always comes to me first as I'm the one with the treats. LOLOL

I had lunch with Sheila and went to see auntie later this afternoon, she was out. Why was I surprised that lady has a more active social life than anyone I know! As I said yesterday she may have been at the BBQ. It should be dry and warmer tomorrow and there's a street sale about 5 minutes away so if it's dry I may go and see if I can catch up with auntie afterwards.
