It's been in the mid 40's for days but feels nearer the mid 30's in the wind.

I won't be going to the hall in the morning as I'm supposed to get an Ethernet cable in the post and I'd better be here even though the laptop and phone seem to be working just fine. If I miss the delivery I can hardly complain if it goes wrong again!!

When I get off here I'll see if I received the picture of the puzzle I saw it on your time line. I sent you a tiny video of a dog on messenger this afternoon which I thought you might like.

Hi Janet, I saw the picture of the hawk, I occasionally see them hunting in the grass verges by the roadside when I visit Tessa and Sam has a wild meadow that was a cow pasture at the back of her house and they hunt in that too, I think they're beautiful birds but cruel. That's nature.

We've had rain for the last couple of days and I was out with Sue, the nun, yesterday. Unfortunately the friend I take her to have a cuppa with was taken in to hospital so we just had a light lunch and did several charity shops and I brought her home to eat raspberries and cream and chocolate cake! I took her to her brother about 6ish and her sister in law cooks dinner for them and then they take her back to the convent.
