Oh Mary I'm so sorry. That's really rough. And I guess it doesn't get a bit easier over time, but its still a void no one else can fill. I'm really sorry. I know I still miss my grandmother too! That must have been tough for your Mom to lose her Mom on her birthday too.
What is up with this weather? Yeah I feel like you, is it spring yet?? I'm ready. It was so cold here this morning I could see my breath. I got a fire going today that would make Rudy proud. I worked at it and have a huge bed of coals in there. Its so much warmer now. I even had a heater in the kitchen for a bit which really helps. Upstairs is nice because of that lovely heater up there. So I'm not freezing. But this snow UGH!! I think its stopped and we only got an inch or so. Its packing snow too. If I was a kid I'd have made a snow man. Instead I managed to bring the logs in and its going to stay warm as long as I can stay awake! Nothing on the schedule for this week so far.  5:14 PM my time and pitch black out there! I don't care about Christmas. I just want winter to end yesterday!
I bought a bunch of chicken wings yesterday and some nice veggies. That's supper tonight and likely tomorrow night too. At least I'm eating well.

Keebler watered the Odonata Igniflora, and spotted a Field Mouse feeding on the Bird Mix!

We currently have maybe 2 inches of white stuff. Axle went to the hallway for a few minutes this afternoon without being told that it was cold out so maybe he saw the white stuff on the balcony
It's funny how the pet's despite seeing us working hard to move the white stuff still want to go out then complain about being stuck or cold
