Hi Mary thank you kindly for the summer duck. Had a lovely visit with my friend. We had some of her birthday cake, my goodness it was awesome. I brought her lunch and a little gift and she gave me a pair of shoes. So funny, she gave me my rubber boots when I first met her and then today I got shoes from her. Nice slip on sneakers. So she's been good to my feet. We must wear the same size I guess.
I got so tired. We walked around her gardens, she has so many wonderful flowers and she gave me oodles of cherry tomatoes and a kohlrabi too. So I will incorporate them in a dinner I think this week.
I hope your day was just right and that tomorrow stretches on for you. But in a good way of course. The weekends just seem to speed by for some reason. Its a long weekend for us. I think it is for you too. Have a good night Mary. (((HUGS)))
