I had  to look up hedge apples. Osage oranges. How interesting. We don't have those here. I've never seen them before. I sure wish I had some to put out to keep those little creatures away! Thanks for that lesson. I will have to look into getting some somewhere.
So the cake and dinner were a hit. Thank goodness. I am so tired today I just don't have any oomph to do much. Our harvest time is just about here. The farmers have been selling corn for ages. And our corn is kind of disappointing. Some turned out and some are empty. You can tell by feeling them. So weird.
I have to do some stewed tomatoes. I think maybe tomorrow I will work on them. I need another day to just rest. I have to do something with the pumpkin and the strawberries and a few other things I have in the fridge.
My age is showing here.
