Happy Wednesday Mary. Thank you kindly for the phoenix. Well its raining. I planned to go to town today, but apparently when my back said stop yesterday I didn't listen in time. So its pretty sore. Maybe I can go before they close. Those muscles are really out of shape!
My girlfriend wants me to go to the Mother's Day tea that will happen on Saturday. And I think that might be a great idea. I don't expect to hear from Tj. He's usually busy and he forgets. So that might be fun. Carol's kids are far away and not likely will be coming to see her, so we can do this together. Its like a high tea they are having and we both enjoy those.
I think I will put a roast in the slow cooker today. I've got tiny little potatoes to go with them and lots of veggies so I think something like that would be a treat. And it means I won't have to cook for several days which I like as well.
I really hope Tessa is feeling better. Sometimes they get into something and you can never be sure. She might have eaten some violets? You just never know. And sometimes they just get an upset tummy. So I hope its just a rough day.
