Hello Mary,
I had a positively awful day yesterday... drove the 1 1/2 hours to go to home affairs for the passport, stood in the que for almost 2 hours. Was 5 people away from the door when they came and closed the door. Closed for the day .... at 11am!!!!! Honestly and our government wonders why it is collapsing.... I was so angry. So i have to go back and try again. but not today.
Men have days like us when they wonder if it is all worth it. What i have found works for my husband anyway, is i tell him often thank you for working so hard to provide for us. I really appreciate the work you do even if others don't because i know you do it because you love us. It is hard to see them struggle. My husband was without work for almost 3 years, i swear that nearly killed him. i had to "make up jobs" around the house to keep him busy and to praise him for so that i could lift his spirits. Your hubby does have a tough job, in summer it is probably uncomfortably hot and he would rather be enjoying the sunshine rather than long hauling, and winter is cold and dangerous. so my advice is just find little things to praise him about and that can build him up. Men like to feel like men, like they are helping and making a difference.
Have a great day xxx
