Gosh is it just me or is this week like a blurrrrrr - so they are going to be testing everyone at my hubby's work over the next two days to try see who is carrrying / spreading the typhoid. like you it's something i only heard about on tv. Hubby was just saying how glad he is we spent all that money getting the expensive inoculations before he left, but honestly i couldn't imagine life without him. I listen to all these other menopausal woman who can't stand their husbands and i just can't relate. Maybe having them work away from home is the key...lol.

i also love airplants, but to be honest i haven't spent much time in the garden this year. This heat and weather has been crazy this summer. And with the wild fire that went on for more than a week, can you believe you open the doors in the morning and you still smell fire. there is no fresh smell to the start of the day. Which i used to really love. mind you the house doesn't smell much better. I only notice when i come back after being out, but it smells like i have a 2 pack a day habit and i don't even smoke. i have washed all the bedding, curtains etc. tried to let the air flow through, but nothing is removing the smell. Google says leave out bowls of vinegar, i think i am going to give that a try now.
