Quick as a wink she was gone again…this time rattling away in her hall cupboard…the messiest one of course. She rattled and clanged and when it became silent she had produced five large picnic hampers which she then proceeded to fill to their brims. Oh how wonderful! Thank you so much Seanachai. You are the best friend one could ever hope for. Seanachai lugged all the hampers outside on the steps lining them up beside her pumpkins. It looked like all was well. There was more than enough food to last for the journey south. They all hugged her and promised to fly safely and with that each one grabbed a picnic hamper in their beak ready for the off. Well it is said that even the best laid plans can go wrong and wrong they went. The hampers were so heavy that no one could lift them. If they were to fly they must fly without their survival hampers. What to do now? The children started to cry; Mrs. Robin looked so frazzled and Seanachai was at a loss for words.
