Hi Sue! Checked the tomato plants esrly this evening and I've grown my first ever black tomato, I'm dead chuffed. The only thing is, it's only black one side, the other is still green!! It was hidden under the leaves near the bottom of the plant (it's very compact) so I can only assume it starts off green like they all do? One of my cucumber plants is doing ok, the other one, not so much. But everything is being affected. I lost most of my seedlings before I could transplant them, they just burnt! And as for my Sunflower Army, well, they're stick thin with no sign of any actual flowers yet. I'm gutted. The tomato wars are a bit of fun we started during covid but it's going to be an early ceasefire this year I think LOL. I'm suffering through the power surges of the dreaded menopause so was still using the fan anyway 🤣🤣 Sleep well and dream sweet Sue, have a terrific Thursday xx
