Good morning.  I went to town and the supermarket this morning and pretty well organised. Just have to wrap presents and make a trifle but I'll do thst Monday or Tuesday night. I'm working right up to Xmas but then dont go back to work until the 5th so looking forward to that.

It was only for a moment
That i shut my eyes and dozed,
But, oh, how much went through my mind
In the time my eyes were closed.
I had drunk my golden nectar-
Well, a nice hot cup of tea-
And watched the flickering firelight's gleam
On the sparkling Christmas tree.
I remembered my great childhood,
Holly bunches in the hall,
Our bulging stockings on the bed,
Oh, the magic of it all.
Singing carols, presents, turkey;
Special treats we had for tea;
Our big parties on Boxing Day
With our friends and family.
Then i smiled at my nostalgia,
Thanking God for every day,
For though childhood has come and gone,
Memories are here to stay.
