Good morning.  Been a busy week so my garden was a bit neglected

             MEMORIES.
A sunlit path across the fields,
The shadowed silence through the trees,
A quiet cove with flowing tide,
The smell of wood-smoke on the breeze.

With all the joy which memory brings
I think of happy, far-off things.

The peace which comes with falling snow,
The first star on a frosty night.
The days we shared with those who cared.
Those times we set the world alight.
