Hello everyone!

It seems like many people still struggle to understand what exactly are the requirements to move on, and what is needed to get there. I have seen people accuse others for nicking their caterpillars (oh dear) even though they have no supershroom, for example, and this is one of the false assumptions. So, I try to list the requirements here, maybe it helps =)

FROM RED TO ORANGE (From set 1 to set 2)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE RED BUTTERFLY (sunset dreamer) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

- Own garden does not count. To do this, you need nothing special in your garden.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

- In order to get 3 butterflies to visit you, you need to find 3 red caterpillars in other people's gardens, and they need to form a chrysalis to your red butterpilla plants (one at a time), when they are at least 3 minutes old, but not older than two hours (when they get fully grown).

NOTE: it used to be during the first hour,  but this has now changed,  and different plants have different times - red butterpillaflora plant gets fully grown in 2 hours, so that is the time for them.

- You can only get one chrysalis at a time, so you need to plant one red butterpillaflora, find a caterpillar at a correct time (stated above) and wait for the nurturing plant to get fully grown (2 hours), before you can plant another butterflora and start again.

- You do NOT need a supershroom to do this. All you need is to have one butterflora plant in your garden, ready to give a home to a caterpillar.

- The ONLY thing that attracts the butterfly is the sparkling butterflora, that used to have a chrysalis on it. You do not need the supershroom to attract butterflies.

- Spotting caterpillars when you have no home for them to offer (the butterpillaflora) does not help you with leveling up the butterfly levels. They do not count anywhere.

- You can spot your own butterflies in your garden if you want to, they still count as "spotted in your garden", though they don't count as the one that you need to find elsewhere.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 RED CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

- Now, THIS is when you need the supershroom. The red caterpillars are attracted to it, and only to it , while it is fully grown (not any more when it is ready for harvest).

- It doesn't matter what other flowers you have in your garden, but caterpillars are rare in a funny way: if you have competition from average critters, those can get to the food quicker than caterpillars. If you are attracting nothing else than caterpillars, you get only them.

- Be smart and use your precious supershroom time wisely: remove the competition from other critters and it should be no problem to get those 10 to visit you during those 36 hours that the mushroom is fully grown, and attracting them.

4) YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE RED BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT

- It does not have to be a flower that once attracted a butterfly. Any red butterpillaflora plant will do. Takes 5 days to get ready for harvest.

FROM ORANGE TO YELLOW (From set 2 to set 3)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE ORANGE BUTTERFLY (Dancing Firewind) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 6 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the red butterflies that you already attracted 3 on the previous level.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 ORANGE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

- Quite same method as with the red ones, only now you plant orange butterpillafloras, and search for orange caterpillars. The timeline is still 2 hours with orange plants.

4) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 ORANGE CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

- And here is when it changes. The red caterpillars were attracted only by the supershroom. Orange ones need the supershroom AND fully grown orange butterpillaflora plants to arrive.

- Because the red ones are still invited (they are still attracted by the supershroom that you have), you will get both: reds and oranges. You can add to the attraction power of orange caterpillars by having many orange butterpillaflora plants in your garden.

- Tip: Get your butterflies first. You will need to buy 3 orange butterpillafloras to do that, and when they have attracted the butterfies, you already have the required orange butterpillafloras to attract the caterpillars to your garden, and you don't have to buy them twice.

5) YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE ORANGE BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT.

FROM YELLOW TO GREEN (From set 3 to set 4)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE YELLOW BUTTERFLY (Sunlight Sparklewind) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 9 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the red butterflies that you already attracted 6 on the previous level.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 6 ORANGE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the orange butterflies that you already attracted 3 on the previous level.

4) YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 YELLOW BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same method as with the earlier ones, now you use yellow butterpillaflora, and search for yellow caterpillars. Timeline is still 2 hours with yellow plants.

5) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 YELLOW CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

- Same system as with the orange caterpillars, but this time you need the supershroom and yellow butterpillaflora flowers in your garden, instead of orange ones.

6) YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE YELLOW BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT.

FROM GREEN TO BLUE (From set 4 to set 5)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE GREEN BUTTERFLY (Forest Leafwing) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 12 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the red butterflies that you already attracted 9 on the previous level.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 9 ORANGE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the orange butterflies that you already attracted 6 on the previous level.

4) YOU NEED TO HAVE 6 YELLOW BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the yellow butterflies that you already attracted 3 on the previous level.

5) YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 GREEN BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same method as with the earlier ones, now you use green butterpillaflora, and search for green caterpillars. Note: these flowers take 4 hours to get fully grown (the previous ones took 2 hours), meaning that you can hunt for a new chrysalis only every 4 hours. This also means that the time that you have to find the caterpillar is now 4 hours, not 2.

6) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 GREEN CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

Same system as with the earlier caterpillars, but this time you need:
- the supershroom and
- orange butterpillaflora (just one), and
- green butterpillaflora (as many as you can, these are the ones that attract the green caterpillar.

Note: you will now be getting red, orange and green caterpillars to your garden. You can't deter the previous caterpillars, so only way to try and get the green ones visit more than the others is to have more green butterfloras to add to their attaction power!

7. YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE GREEN BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT .

FROM BLUE TO INDIGO (From set 5 to set 6)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE BLUE BUTTERFLY (Mystic River) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 15 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the red butterflies that you already attracted 12 on the previous level.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 12 ORANGE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the orange butterflies that you already attracted 9 on the previous level.

4) YOU NEED TO HAVE 9 YELLOW BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the yellow butterflies that you already attracted 6 on the previous level.

5) YOU NEED TO HAVE 6 GREEN BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the green butterflies that you already attracted 3 on the previous level.

6) YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 BLUE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same method as with the earlier ones, now you use blue butterpillaflora, and search for blue caterpillars. Note: these flowers take 4 hours to get fully grown (the first three took 2 hours), meaning that you can hunt for a new chrysalis only every 4 hours. Timeline to find the caterpillar is 4 hours.

7) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 BLUE CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

Same system as with the earlier caterpillars, but this time you need:
- the supershroom and
- yellow butterpillaflora (just one), and
- blue butterpillaflora (as many as you can, these are the ones that attract the blue caterpillar.

Note: you will now be getting red, yellow and blue caterpillars to your garden. You can't deter the previous caterpillars, so only way to try and get the blue ones visit more than the others is to have more blue butterfloras to add to their attaction power!

8. YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE BLUE BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT .

FROM INDIGO TO VIOLET (From set 6 to set 7)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE INDIGO BUTTERFLY (Moonlight Tranquility) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 18 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the red butterflies that you already attracted 15 on the previous level.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 15 ORANGE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the orange butterflies that you already attracted 12 on the previous level.

4) YOU NEED TO HAVE 12 YELLOW BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the yellow butterflies that you already attracted 9 on the previous level.

5) YOU NEED TO HAVE 9 GREEN BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the green butterflies that you already attracted 6 on the previous level.

6) YOU NEED TO HAVE 6 BLUE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the blue butterflies that you already attracted 3 on the previous level.

7. YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 INDIGO BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same method as with the earlier ones, now you use indigo butterpillaflora, and search for indigo caterpillars. Note: these flowers take 6 hours to get fully grown, meaning that you can hunt for a new chrysalis only every 6 hours. Timeline is 6 hours to find the caterpillar=)

8) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 INDIGO CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

Same system as with the earlier caterpillars, but this time you need:
- the supershroom and
- orange butterpillaflora (just one), and
- green butterpillaflora (just one), and
- indigo butterpillaflora (as many as you can, these are the ones that attract the indigo caterpillar.

Note: you will now be getting red, orange, green and indigo caterpillars to your garden. You can't deter the previous caterpillars, so only way to try and get the indigo ones visit more than the others is to have more indigo butterfloras to add to their attaction power!

9. YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE INDIGO BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT .

HOW TO GET TO THE BONUS LEVEL: RAINBOW BUTTERPILLAFLORA

"Finally, to unlock the special bonus seed (and find out what special powers it holds), you must complete the following quests"

FROM VIOLET TO SPECIAL BONUS SEED (from set 7 to bonus-level)

1) YOU NEED TO SPOT ONE VIOLET BUTTERFLY (Shimmering Musicwing) IN SOMEONE ELSE'S GARDEN.

2) YOU NEED TO HAVE 21 RED BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the red butterflies that you already attracted 18 on the previous level.

3) YOU NEED TO HAVE 18 ORANGE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the orange butterflies that you already attracted 15 on the previous level.

4) YOU NEED TO HAVE 15 YELLOW BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the yellow butterflies that you already attracted 12 on the previous level.

5) YOU NEED TO HAVE 12 GREEN BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the green butterflies that you already attracted 9 on the previous level.

6) YOU NEED TO HAVE 9 BLUE BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the blue butterflies that you already attracted 6 on the previous level.

7. YOU NEED TO HAVE 6 INDIGO BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same as above, only now you need 3 more of the indigo butterflies that you already attracted 3 on the previous level.

8. YOU NEED TO HAVE 3 VIOLET BUTTERFLIES SPOTTED IN YOUR GARDEN

- Same method as with the earlier ones, now you use violet butterpillaflora, and search for violet caterpillars. Note: these flowers take 6 hours to get fully grown, meaning that you can hunt for a new chrysalis only every 6 hours. Time to find the caterpillar: 6 hours.

9) YOU NEED TO HAVE 10 VIOLET CATERPILLARS SPOTTED IN YOUR OWN GARDEN

Same system as with the earlier caterpillars, but this time you need:
- the supershroom and
- yellow butterpillaflora (just one), and
- blue butterpillaflora (just one), and
- violet butterpillaflora (as many as you can, these are the ones that attract the violet caterpillar.

Note: you will now be getting red, yellow, blue and violet caterpillars to your garden. You can't deter the previous caterpillars, so only way to try and get the violet ones visit more than the others is to have more violet butterfloras to add to their attaction power!

10. YOU NEED TO HARVEST ONE VIOLET BUTTERPILLAFLORA PLANT .

RAINBOW BUTTERPILLAFLORA:

The Rainbow Butterpillaflora is a little different to the others.

There is no Rainbow Caterpillar, however the Rainbow Butterpillaflora can host ANY other caterpillar's chrysalis. Meaning, when your rainbow plant is sprouting, but less than 6 hours old, you can catch any colored caterpillar that you happen to find, and you will get a chrysalis. 

NOTE:
After this change that has just happened, you can also attract all the previous caterpillars with only the supershroom and a sparkling rainbow caterpillar in your garden - more about that in the next post.

In addition, you can have multiple Rainbow Butterpillafloras hosting a chrysalis in your Garden at the same time. You don't have to wait for them to get fully grown like with other plants- and you can use diamond and fruiting dust to speed up these plants, but only when they are hosting a chrysalis.

RAINBOW BUTTERFLIES:

The Rainbow Butterpillaflora also sometimes works a little magic on the chrysalis it is hosting, producing a beatiful Rainbow Butterfly instead of the usual butterfly for that caterpillar (this happens approximately 50% of the time!)

So, if you happened to find a green caterpillar to your rainbow plant, you will get either a green butterfly, or a rainbow butterfly, no knowing which one it will be =)
Rainbow butterflies are just like others, come with alert, stay a very little time- and these give 20 diamonds.

RAINBOW:

You need to plant a rainbow butterpillaflora seed to the Magical Rainbow Cup.
You need to find a chrysalis to it.
When it is fully grown, attracting a butterfly, it will give you a rainbow.
However, when the butterfly is spotted, the rainbow will go away!

So, to keep the rainbow in your garden, you can have one sparkling rainbow butterpillarflora plant and no food for the butterfly, that will keep the plant sparkling (and the rainbow in your garden) until the plant goes ready for harvest (5 days).
Or, you can freeze your garden background while you have the rainbow there.

THE CHANGE WITH RAINBOW BUTTERPILLAFLORA - CATERPILLARS TOO!

So this is the news:
"You can now use your "Rainbow Butterpillaflora" whenever you have a Supershroom in your Garden to turn all those Wriggly Red Caterpillars into much more sought-after Caterpillar types instead! (We'll leave it up to you to figure out exactly how this is done, but here's a clue: the Butterpillaflora needs to be kept 'sparkling'...) "

So far we are thinking, not 100% sure, that it works like this:
You must have a supershroom in your garden, fully grown.
You must have a rainbow butterpillaflora plant in your garden, nurturing any colored worm in the chrysalis.
You will get random colored caterpillars to your garden, they can be any color, no matter what colored caterpillar you found to make your plant sparkle.

I hope this is correct, let me know if it turns out not to be so.
