I have the nighsgade plant but only getting small goats. The last time i had both this an knapweed, i did not get a larg goat either. I am wondering why? Will i get a large goat at some point or no? Not sure what to do? This is my 7th and final large goat, not sure why I'm having so much trouble?

Hi Michelle - it is the knapweed that deters the small goats and they provide more competition than the medium goats that are deterred by the nightshade.  I cannot tell how much longer you have on your buttercup till it is rfh - if you have more than 24 hours until it is rfh then you could try planting up a knapweed so you can deter the small goats (fully dusted the toadstool will take 24 hours to be rfh).  If you don't have the time left, all you can do is hope the big billy gets through the competition.  If not, you will need to do another round of grass, buttercup etc.  If the big buttercup goes rfh before you can organise this, then keep it to the left of your garden and when a big billie arrives it will harvest the rfh big buttercup first and you may be lucky enough to get two big billies on your last round.  Good luck x
