Have people been testing their designed bouquets for their deterrent factors...

It is my understanding that worms are deterred by thirty per cent if using a designed bouquet and a shroom in the garden. A similar advantage is the reduction of myths using a mushroom other than a shroom.
I am not totally sure how this works and wonder if those who have been collecting data can help.
Is it better to use a pink cap with lower potential of myths or a higher mushroom or does that make no difference. And is is the lowly myths like the golden dragon and water dragon on veggies or does it extend to perhaps winged unicorns and black unicorns on a higher mushroom than pink cap.
Thirty per cent. Is that affected by number of feeds on a platter...so if you used organic with five feeds would there be fewer myths than say triple organic or super food. Math-wise that would mean one point five or two on a platter of five feeds should not be lowly myths...but then how many normally would one expect. On a platter of ten feeds there should be three fewer myths. Or am I looking at this wrong...would be it one specific myth that might be reduced.
Thanks.

Well I have 2 platters of organic out. 2 feeds gone off each one and 3 of the 4 are wrc . I know that is not much of a sample to go on but its not a good start for sure.

The rarity of wildlife would play a factor: wombats are very rare and llamas are rare so it's more likely WRCs would visit your garden Murphy, than if you were set up for something common or average.

I agree Paula. But if the new bouquet helps eliminate 39% of the wrc then I should get more Llama. I just got the first one on the 4th feed. But again its all just a small sample of food as just got the plant RFH. We will see soon enough how it runs.

I am testing the pink cap...but without all the specifics it is hard to know if it is working. I am using seed so really only the firebird and griffin would have a nibble...but if I put out veggies for something lowly like a skunk...maybe will get more vermin as it requires a low platter.

Mine should say 30%- I see I have a typo.. oops..

I saw thirty...so no worries. I just checked my garden...and this is not an advertisement...the critters that I have been attracting are worth fewer gems than the two seedy myths that can come...so I guess not an accurate test. I would like to know what the average number of myths could be on a platter...if it is reduced by thirty per cent...then on an organic platter of five feeds...two should not be myths...but then again...what would it normally be without the vase.

Murphy and SJR2 days, 2 hours ago

Well you could aways test it with a full grown pink cap and the extinct critters. One for veggies and one for seed. Mind you again the extinct are also rare also.
But... in all honesty, if we needed to further reduce the attraction of myths on average or easy critters then the game has already failed. I would expect to have lots of grey squirrels if I was attracting them and should not need a designer vase out to help reduce the myths. Or the wrc ..
But we can always use a boost when trying to attract something more rare.. that is why the test should be conducted on wildlife that would struggle a bit to come even with a shroom. A shroom was introduced to attract more of the target animal and then they wrc took over. Some people said it was because the target animal was so rare it could not come so often. Ok.. I will go with that. So now we have a bouquet to help the target animal show up more often. Its pointless if its a average critter.. so the target animal is going to have to be a more rare one. If the bouquet is to work like it was programmed to then the rest of the critters in my garden should be better then Wrc's. No matter that I am attracting a more rare creature.
I only needed one.. for a vase. But I think after this batch I may do 2 platters of SF.. that is a better sample anyway.

Thanks for your thoughts...would love to hear how your experiment goes. I was wondering if plates with more feeds might give a better sample. I decided to do just organic and double organic and see if there was a difference between those.

I do believe that we would need a bigger sample. It would not have to be sf.. just monitor different platters of what ever type of food one would wish to use. After all the food should all act the same way no matter if its reg or organic or sf.
The only real test would be to do it over several platters.
