I just received the notice that my birthday seed was ready to be planted... because on the 12th of June my fairy will officially be 18 years old! What a milestone!

I personally never take Fairyland's past, present and future for granted - every bit of it comes thanks to the dedication of Fairyland's developer, Mike. I'm not an expert but I believe that this is truly an extraordinary game in many ways - its concept, lifespan, warmth, fun, the (ever ongoing) care given by the developer, the community... I appreciate it and have always appreciated it so much!

Well said, Lisa! It really is an extraordinary game. Everything is so well planned so that all the bits fit together just right, and the different degrees of difficulty mean there's something for everyone. It can be incredibly frustrating at times, but that's all part of the game - it would be boring if it was too easy. I love the warmth of the game too - the personal involvement and responses from Mike are wonderful, and the fact that players can chat and help each other out is really valued by lots of us. I love its connection to nature too. I've learned lots about the natural world from playing the game, and am able to answer a surprising number of TV quiz questions saying 'I knew that from Fairyland!'

I completely share your appreciation and gratitude for the game. Thank you, Mike, and long live Fairyland!
