I goofed and spotted 10 yellow chameleons so now I have 2 green and no yellow. Let me see if I get this right before I do anything. I remove a green, plant a red and work my way back to yellow. Once I get my yellow the other colors after that will show up again? What a costly mistake that was.

Since you have a blue and 2 indigos, as well, I would do exactly what you said. Get rid of the green and plant the red to work your way back to yellow.
