I misunderstood and thought I could get a final daffodil plant on the 7th.  I've got four eggs waiting to be finished and there's no daffodil plant available so I can't finish them. Gutted.

I'm pretty sure that the seasonal plants usually last for the whole of the last day, for all time zones, which corresponds to midday GMT of the day following the last day, which in this case would be the 8th. I've noticed this, because I've often got a seasonal plant from the shop on the final day, only to see that it was still available until the following morning...  so it does seem to me that the Easter plants were pulled early. Disappointing for those who wanted to plant the daffodil to get a rainbow..

It's usually midday GMT on the date given, so today (7th) wasn't early.  If it goes over (sometimes they forget!) it's a bonus, but we shouldn't expect them to regularly stay in the shop once the given date arrives.

There's already been at least a month to plant for a rainbow; the cut-off has to happen sometime and it will always catch people out, even given that the date of removal is published.

Hopefully I will remember next time that it's not until the end of the day on the date given.

But for this time the link for daffs that Jenny and Tindra has given has made me very happy. It's sent a daff to my pending spot and I think she's probably right that it will work for the next couple of days.  I do remember the poinsettias in pending used to work for a few days after they left the gift page

Absolutely gutted that it's been removed already. I somehow managed a spotting bonus on the VIII Easter quest that I'm now unable to complete. I'd planned to switch back over from Pot Lot this evening

It's midnight GMT....it's always either been 9.30am or 10.30am here for me, depending on if it's daylight savings here. If it were midday GMT, it would be (pm) here for me and it isn't)
