I tried to buy a pot but was told I either had to buy more gold or "Sprinkle Gold Dust On "the fairy's name"
In exchange for: Icy Pottery.
I have enough gold but don't know how to access the back wall or garden of the fairy whose pot I wish to buy.
Any advice will be most helpful.

You don’t need to visit them , you need to convert your gold into gold dust …. You do this by clicking on the mushroom and converting your gold you will see the option to do so  ( you must have purchased gold within the game to have the ability I believe ) if the msg tells you that you can’t then it’s likely because you haven’t met the purchase requirements….. you can spot good wildlife to earn gold dust so that’s another way to get it x

Thanks for that info. The screen I came to when trying to buy the pot said I could purchase gold OR sprinkle gold dust directly.

Essentially you “ sprinkle” the person with gold dust but…. This happens in the marketplace when you purchase the pot, so you don’t leave there to go to their garden. So you click on the pot you want to buy …. You select to purchase it ….. that’s the transaction done, but only if you have enough gold dust, if you don’t have enough dust you need to convert your gold into dust , if you cannot do this it’s because you haven’t purchased gold … if you have purchased gold then you will have no issues doing it 🩷

  this is the message you get when you have the ability to purchase more dust,  if you had this message then simply convert your gold if it’s telling you that you need to buy gold then it perhaps means you haven’t purchased any lately ( I can’t remember the time scale)

I don’t know if I’m explaining it very well lol hopefully someone else can offer some advice too :)
