Over the past few weeks, I am not able to send gifts.  The list that used to pop up is not there.  If I go to Gifts, I am olnly given the open to get for myself.  Please help!  Has this been scrapped?  Moved to another place?  Any reply will be gratefully received xxx

Because of the issue with facebook all gifts have now been changed so we can buy for ourselves instead.

Yes, everyone can get their own for free now so having to send them is redundant.

Thank you for your answers.  I think it is rather sad that we can no long send gifts.  If this is a permanent state of affairs, maybe the little gift boxes can be removed from the game?

Maybe it will change once the game leaves Facebook.  It's their system causing the problem, this is just something Mike had to do to work around it.

Aaaaah ok.  That makes sense.  I play another game called Hatchlings.  Have done so since 2009.  It was through FAcebook.  Started having a lot of issues - the game would freeze, it wouldn't load, all sorts of things, it used to get throttled.  The devs finally got the rats, worked hard, and we now play totally off Facebook

Facebook will no longer support games at all as of later this year, so that's what Mije us having to do for Fairylabd, too.  A lot of work but it will be good to get away from FB :)

The thing is, we used to send them to friends so that friends didn't have to buy them but now they're free so it defeats the purpose of sending them to others.

It's just whether they will still remain free to buy once we move over to the new site, I suppose.  Or go back to free gifts/costing diamonds in the shop.

Yes it may change but hopefully it just remains as it is as it doesn't make sense to send them, just make them free, it works out the same regardless. :)
