How can you get more gold without purchasing it?

All the ways are listed on the Find Gold page.
1. everyone gets 50 free sprinkles every 20 hours
2. leveling up gives 25 gold and 25 blue diamonds
3. Hunt the Bug - low levels get this more frequently than higher levels (I get one every 3 weeks), but this gives 20 gold each time
4. Herbalism - you can try this after you've harvested the Herbs and Bonsai
5. Spot 'first' wildlife - "All wildlife give you Diamond rewards when you spot them. However, some wildlife (e.g. Mythologicals, Endangered, Butterflies) will also give bonus Gold for the first time they are spotted in a Garden."

You can sell pots in the marketplace for gold
You get 100 gold once a year when you harvest your birthday plant
You get a small gold gift (5 or 10?) when you harvest your RFH poinsettia plants and forest jewel plants

Forgot to mention some of the seasonal plants will SOMETIMES give you a small gold gift, ie shamrocks, trick or treat plants.

Birdbaths - you get 10 gold for every chick you spot in a birdbath, and the garden owner will get 10 gold for every chick that is attracted to their birdbath too.

The first mother/father & baby wildlife attracted in someone’s garden, will give the spotter 100 gold reward.
