People suggested this when I said am out of both and need to hunt.  One suggested she shared the Toadstools and Rubies she will never use.  Can you make this happen????  (am close and had to shutdown effort for Fairytale and now shutdown effort for Butterflies!  It'll take me another year to progress to complete 1 and maybe both!!!  Please help and for those that don't need who will share.  Thanks

This is a challenge resource - we're supposed to hunt for FT and ruby seeds (or other resource). Plus, selling/trading/whatever resources would make it more difficult for wildlife to be spotted. I need my FT wildlife spotted in order to progress and if someone can just buy a seeds (vs spotting wildlife to earn it), then the give-and-take of the game will fail.

Try joining a fan group - there are a couple on the bottom left of the Help page. I have found it helpful to be in a group because of the "instant friends" and there are activities/sub-groups I can join to work through challenges.

Mary - we can already buy supershrooms with amber/sunlight - completing butterflies gives the option to use rubies.

I can understand your frustrations. I had difficulty getting topiary seeds, Fairytale seeds and pinks to buy the pots for the Fairytales. I had to switch to something else and continue the Fairytales another time. The topiary seeds took me months to get nine seeds to start. There are always challenges...some which seem insurmountable at the time...but you will find a way to get where you want to be. As for Fairytales...I just kept trying to get dates with Jack as he would give a seed after five spots.

I did the fairytale in stages as i hunted for seeds enough to do more I did them,  the fairytale were still being released anyway so we couldn't go beyond those .I wouldn't like the toadstool and pink to be shareable,  I hunt for seeds even though I have completed them , they are in the scroll quests and pottery lottery quests and I at times host them to help others .

Yes it is hard at times for seeds etc. but you always pick them up as you go along and more. I can't see it being changed now after all these years and to be honest, it shouldn't or what would the use be of a challenge?

I agree that collecting and balancing resources is a (sometimes frustrating) part of the game.
I really don't like stopping mid-way through something, so I collected enough resources before starting, even though that took sometime.
Now is a great time to stock up on jewel seeds, dropped by festive wildlife.
