As the Calendar is for 31 days and we can only go ahead by 2 days maximum, this means it isn't possible to have the completed set of lights to switch on on Christmas Day. I would love it if this could be changed so that those of us who wish to could have the option to do them slightly faster!

But the calendar is the countdown to New Year, not to Christmas Day - it's not an Advent calendar, it has a Happy New Year message on it when it's finished :)

Yes, it is meant to be 31 days as it's a "New Years" calendar...

I would rather it switch up to twelve days...so that it can be enjoyed throughout the festive season. The writing was not always on the door if I recall correctly...so maybe the writing could change to reflect that....although Happy and the year as it stands now would still work. It gets darn busy during December, and 31 days is a long time to be opening the door...it causes a draft too with the cold air from the snow seeping in.
