I have 2 question: If I put my calendar in storage does it freeze it or does it continue to tick away?  Also, if I go back to a day that needs help, will the calendar show the same critter or does it start with another one? TIA!

I'm not sure about the storage question as I've never stored mine but...
If you go back and open the door again, it's not guaranteed to be the same critter it can change.

I'm a novice on the lights too. Does anyone know , because I've gone back 3 days to get a day I missed . Do I have to now go  forward through the lights I've already done again , ? theres no way of skipping those ones ? Xxx

Yes, you have to go through all the days.
There is the option that you can close the door and then move on to the next day. But you can only do this when you have already unlocked all 8 light colours of the day.
