They look prettier when they're lit. But if you don't like them there's no need to do them - think of the gold you'll save.

I don't like them either so definitely saving my gold! I am a bit sad though that we didn't get christmas gnome pots to continue on from the summer and halloween gnomes.

I wasn't going to them, but when I saw the cute little dots on them, I couldn't resist. I just wish the stem was coloured in too. Please, this would make them look even prettier.

Its definitely not very "Christmasy" thats for sure, its horrible. Just couldnt beleive it when I saw the news, Ughhhh.... (apologies to those that do like it) Christmas is usually my fav time in the gardens. But this year has just been one big disappointment. Same old yet again. Really, really had hoped we would mabey at least have got a new buildable of some kind.
