I’m growing butterfly plants with rubys and I see under the seed section I can also grow a jewel plant to level up. If I use the ruby seeds to make a butterfly how do I use a ruby seed for a jewel? Does this make sense? I’m getting all my info from the seed section

For the butterflies you use the Forest Rubies to buy the butterpillaflora seeds. For the rainforest wildlife you put out a jewel basket pot, and plant the required Forest Jewel in it.

Although you don't use those for levelling up. The jewels that you need to level up (levels 14, 15 and 16) are Flora Praecocia, Rosa Praecocia, and Tulipa Praecocia seeds. You need to find the correct pots to plant those in, in order to get precious jewels.

Right. The dulcia is my level up but in the seed shop are instructions for different level ups. Cactus and bonsai all need to be done. I just didn’t see a jewel and was confused. I found the basket thanks

You can also grow your jewel plants in any pots you've won/obtained in the pottery lottery.
