The wildlife guide says you need a scarecrow complete except for the face to attract a crow. And that's all it indicates is needed. However, I have never attractred one or noticed anyone else attracting a crow without a RFH Halloweeen plant / ghost in the garden. Does anyone know for sure if it works to attract crows without Halloween plants?

Hi Tamara - all you need is birdseed out but they are classified as rare. You will see gardens with the Halloween plant simply because they are doing all the seasonal stuff :)

I guess I misunderstood when attracting a crow.I understood it as “a completed scarecrow without a scary face”.
I have been trying to attract a crow with a scarecrow that has a “happy face”. 😢😢😢

But a scarecrow with a face (they are all supposed to be scary) will deter another Crow from coming to carve the face of a different scarecrow.
