HI, I HAVE COMPLETELY RUN OUT OF BLUE DIAMONDS SO CANNOT FINISH THE ROO AND TIGER VASES THEY HAVE TAKEN SO MANYL. I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY WE COULD USE OUR PINK DIAMONDS OF WHICH I HAVE THOUSANDS. I DON,T WANT TO STOP PLAYING BUT DON,T SEE ANY  OTHER WAY NOW WE CAN,T TRADE.

You can get more blue diamonds by using pink diamonds to buy wild berries and attracting more wildlife to your garden.  When you get your next free sprinkles, look for high diamond wildlife eg Kiwis and Myths.

Topiary myths are diamond mines and help other fairies with their quests.

The heart of the game is still to attract and spot wildlife.  So many gardens have so many wildlife missed, because a lot of people only hunt for the specific critter they want for a vase or a quest etc.  Just spend some time sprinkling through some quieter gardens and you will find loads of blue diamonds.

If you have jewels to get a Supershroom, then caterpillars are a great way to build up your diamond stash. Use a rainbow butterpillaflora and three tables of berries, preferably organic or SF, and advertise. The caterpillars are long stay and have a nice diamond reward. Good luck!

Caterpillars are my go-to for earning diamonds too, spotting as well as attracting.  Lots of players don't bother sticking around for caterpillar alerts because they see them as "pests", which can make them easy pickings!

If you decide to attract them and want to use berries, be careful not to use high tables in case you're due any land frogs that you don't want spotting.  Veggies and bird mix work well enough;  just don't use tropical fruit otherwise you'll attract the butterfly then the rainbow butterpillaflora won't work to change the WRC to the different colours.

Otherwise it's just a matter of patience - keep playing, no matter what you attract or spot, and the diamonds will start to build back up again :)

I ran out so many times during the years, but I worked to build them back up, and now I have thousands. A gift of diamonds is just a temporary fix, imho, and being out of diamonds is just a temporary setback.

You just have to build them back up that’s the nature of the game. I’ve gone up and down lots and lots. What helps a lot is having something in your garden for a longer period of time and just attracting it over and over perhaps you could pair it with a quest like the caterpillars that way you feel like you are accomplishing something while you are earning your diamonds.

Question, why did they stop us from sprinkling diamonds. I forgot it’s been awhile

Supposedly it was because people were trading them, never made sense to me truth be told I should imagine that people trading were buying gold to buy the gems, which meant a profit was still being made by the game itself, on the other hand lots would give away gems to help out those running short, and perhaps that's the real problem, as if someone is supplying them then that means the person receiving them isn't hunting for them and therefore not spending gold, so I would think as it is not profitable for the game, then it would have been seen as a problem, well that's my take on it anyway, I wish we could still help out when people find themselves running short, but we can't and I doubt that will be changed back again, it is relatively easy enough to amass the gems with good garden set ups, or just hunting for them in gardens with good set ups, also worth leaving set ups to run for awhile, topiary mths like Miss said above would be my preferred way to amass gems.
