Hello everyone, just curious to know what order everyone completed their challenges in?
Was there a previous reward from one that made it easier to complete another? My garden was frozen for a very long time, and there are tons of new things to catch up on. Some of the challenges seem a little intimidating.. which is fine... Though, I would like to make the best use of my time, and resources... (if possible lol)

PLEASE feel free to use this thread to share any little tips that helped you along the way!

My idea for order was somewhere along the lines of:
1. Fairy Tales, to get an extra feeding table
2. Maybe Bottom Feeders or Dwellers ( which ever gives you the bird bath?)
3. Rainbow Of fish ( for the rainbow rocks)
4. Topiary (For Green House)
5. Dinos (For SuperFood Weekend)
***I really haven't given much thought to the rest of the challenges, but I figured this would keep me busy for a while.***

My last question: Are there any challenges that can NOT be completed until you reach a certain level or advancement in the game? I know the topiaries will be a long term challenge due to my legendary status ,but that's all I've ran into so far. Thank you in advance to all the friendly fairies for the help! xx

Completing the Rainbow of fish and getting the rainbow rocks reward helps a lot with the topiary set-ups as it allows you to plant a 'Ready for Harvest' mushroom each time for all the unicorns, instead of waiting for one to go grow and go RFH, or using another mushroom in the hope it will give you the right unicorn,.
The challenge focuses on the 7 unicorns really and you are required to progressively attract and spot the unicorns with each colored plate up to the violet plate for the Rainbow. So having the "Rocks' really helps out.

I find completing the butterflies and having the option to planr Rainbow plants really useful for many garden set-ups. When you are using a supershroom  in any set-up, if you toss in a rainbow butterfly plant, you get lovely colored little worms instead of the usual red ones when a worm is attracted to the food.

I did Fairy Tales then Rainbow of Fish then Dinos and now Tops.

Assuming that one does not buy gold often so they don't have plenty of Star Dust (SF) to spare, the free Superfood of the Dinos would be immensely helpful with all other challenges; especially the Fairytales and Rainbow of Fish.
(Right now I'm doing 1 Rainbow fish a month with my free SF.)

And the extra table table of the Alice challenge helps with all challenges (and diamond collecting) as it can be low or high.
And in my own personal experience Alice is a lot easier to complete compared to completing all the Fairytales (still haven't attempted the last 2 of those).

The Bottom Dwellers challenge and the birdbath would not be of much help if one has not finished attracting most of the chicks the regular way first.

You also don't mention the Butterflies, but if you have a shortage of higher tier Jewels, then being able to use Rubies for Supershroom would also help a lot.

Yes  I forgot to add the Alice challenge. This challenge came after the Fairy Tales and Pond challenges in the game but could be worthwhileI doing first for an extra feeding table and the versatility of the table itself. I find the top hat/table you get as a reward very useful because you can change whether it is a high or low table even when you have food out on the plate. This means you often don't have to ditch food between set-ups you might want to change quickly that require different heights of feeding tables.

Alice was my first big challenge that I finished. You will need to unlock all the jewel plants before doing rainbow fish. You do that by attracting Rainforest wildlife. You will also need to unlock all the unicorns before tackling topiary. I agree with the others that butterflies are useful. Dinos is my current challenge and I really like it because it's easy to start and stop if you get bored and want to switch to something else.

Wow such great food for thought from all of you!
Seems I may have underestimated the benefit of doing Alice, and Dinos first.  ( I had no idea the Top Hat was able to go from high to low with food on the plates) - That's kind of a game changer for me!!! The Alice challenge seems really difficult, and there always people asking for help with it.  So, it's refreshing to hear that it was actually easier for some to finish than the fairy tales.

Also Patty : Thanks for letting me know that about needing to unlock all the jewel plants before doing ROF!! Saved me a lot of time, and it's little things like that I was bound to miss xx - Lissett  πŸƒπŸŒΊπŸƒΒ

Oh yes, I totally forgot about unlocking all the Jewels (same thing is needed with Enchanted Jewels) because I did those many years ago. The Rainbow of Fish and Bottom Dwellers have some spotting requirements too.

The problem with Alice is that is it based very much on luck (like the candies). You might know exactly what cards you need but not getting them with your spotting. This can lead to a lot of frustration for some players. I remember once during it I had to stop for a whole week. But you can do that without penalty (as you can stop between Fairytales and Topiary Trails).

On the other hand Alice doesn't need a lot of resources to start (no pink diamonds or special seeds) other than some Jewels for the occasional supershroom. There is a free Tea Set you can use for pots and then it's based on your ability to spot Card Gardeners effectively and on keeping detailed notes of the clues. The clue giving characters don't even need to be spotted to give their clue! It can be done even with regular/free food.

You cannot do the bottom dwellers without first doing the rainbow of fish...you could do up to the tukkas with the pondweed before the bottom dwellers but you have to be able to plant the pondweed for the guppies to colour the coral and you need to go through the necessary steps such as harvest previous pondweed and attract so many of each special fish to meet the requirements. You also have to know how to do the frog breeding. As well, if you haven't attracted chicks to your garden then you will not get any in your birdbath. So if you haven't done chicks that should be done before you proceed in this direction.
The topiaries can be done without the rainbow rocks...but they sure come in handy and while many have done the trails without them, I would not recommend it unless you have a good grasp of topiaries. As well, you need to be able to attract the rainbow unicorn and must be Legendary Seven.
To do Fairy Tales you need Fairytale seeds, shroom seeds, and lots of pinks to buy the pots. The Snow white pots alone will cost 1550 pinks if you use one snowdrops vase...and an additional one will cost 250 pinks and I recommend using two.

Of the ones listed by you....I would suggest doing the Fairytales as that extra table comes in handy.
PS a caveat of using the birdbath is that you have to use underwater seeds to fill it...and whatever type of food(organic, regular, super) the mermaid is attracted to, is the type of water that you will get. So it is best to use a food that has the most feeds possible...and realize that the chicks do not stay long so can be easily missed if not a lot of dedicated waterers.
You didn't mention the dinos...you can collect a completed dip dino nest at the wildlife under the dino tab in the writeup along the lefthand side. Then you attract the critter of the week for you...which is found under the dino tab and gain eggs in the nest. You can also gain eggs through spotting the critter of the week. You get five dino eggs per nest and then you have to repair by spotting the same dino as your nest is made of. You need about two of each nest...so you can also start building nests by having someone send you a nesting rock. It might be something to try...just to see how it works. 48 hours of superfood is the reward...EVERY MONTH.
