Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could see the last time a creature was spotted? It would help so much with the vase quest. My memory is not the best and a chart seems tedious. Thanks for listening ❤️

I just made a list on a sheet of paper, kept it next to my laptop, and marked them off as eliminated. It was quick and easy, especially when working on two bouquets at the same time.

Me too, Genny, I just wrote it all down.  There's no way that relying on memory will work, even for someone with a really good memory, so either writing them down as you spot them, or having a list to cross things off, makes far more sense to me.  It's easy to do, no fuss or faff.

I simply typed them as a list on my ‘notes’ section of my iPad.  You could do the same on a mobile or PC though too. 

I simply put the notes on my backwall. If I switch devises e.g. from tablet to the computer or back, it is really easy to look it up there.

I did as well for the 1st 5. Really don't want to have to make list after list if I don't have to. I also had a hard time remembering to check them off when spotted late at night or on break at work. As always Mike, thanks for letting us give our input.

It is a thought...and I am kind of wondering how this would work because I moved vases in and out of storage...so if let's say a wolf came when my vase was in storage, I could learn when it last showed, but that wouldn't mean anything for my vase as it was sitting in storage. If two vases were in the garden and one wolf showed and turned up in the one vase...I might not remember to watch for a second one in case it was the critter for the second vase. I think your idea is a good one...just need to iron out the wrinkles. Or...maybe it would show on the vase itself which critters were tested? I am not sure...

I don't think it's necessary to make list after list. I made a list for the fox and one for the hare. Beside each critter's name, I put a check or an x for each round. No need for list after list, even if you do two or three of the same vase.

I made a new list each time...just so that I knew what it wouldn't be(the ones already in it I crossed off the list before I began).

It would just show in the wildlife guide. Beside each creature would say: last spotted on this day. It would be interesting to see even just out of curiosity.
