I was always led to believe that no shroom meant no elephants.   I took my shroom out several hours ago... since then I have had ghostly mice or zombie mice etc in my garden but a top elephant turned up 2 feeds after ghostly mallards etc on veg yet my fruits and bird seed had ghostly mice within same time frame before and after.   Perhaps it is a blip in the game !!

It says there is no known deterrents for the Topiary Elephant.  I think it maybe just for the normal Elephant you know how they say they are scared of mice.  I might be wrong thought.  Somebody with more knowledge of the game may know.

Sharon is right.   You don't need a supershroom for the topiary elephants, they will still come without one.

Weird as when I had the shroom out no top elephants came when I had left the rfh Halloween ghost.  As someone was hunting tol elephants I put ghostie in my greenhouse. Later when the fairy had found her top elephants I put the shroom away and brought out the ghostie again just seems I may have been able to save life on shroom and allow mice & top elephants arrive

Yes, you would have been able to do that.  None of the topiaries are deterred by anything which their ordinary counterparts are deterred by :)

So for 10 months I was replacing shrooms for top elephants and did not need to gosh this game baffles me sometimes.  But thanks for the feedback

The thing is...you might not have needed the shroom for the topiary elephant...but for someone who was hunting, the shroom helped make the garden more exclusive for it which I am sure the hunters appreciated. I certainly would have.
