Can anyone tell me how I can get a Yellow Easter Egg plant...I don't seem to be very good at this and I would love a Yellow pot as my favourite colour.

Also, I have been trying to get a pale blue Easter Egg Plant...but that is eluding me too.   So many have managed all of them whilst I keep getting the same colour.

You need to attract either yellow chick or yellow seahorse to get a yellow egg. Those can hatch from Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet eggs.

To guarantee you'll get an egg placed and *not* a decoration in another egg, have the fully grown egg plant at the lef-most position in your garden, if you have more than one.

Thank you Roxanne.  I do have an Indigo egg in a nest and I have a fully ready eggplant which is in the left most position.  I also have an orange egg too which I wanted to decorate the Violet egg...so I guess it will be pot luck which chick hatches first.

Nanny....I am having trouble too....can’t get yellow green or violet. From what I understand, if you are going for a specific color, you want to get one egg of that color plus the next color down, for example you would want a yellow egg and an orange egg. If the yellow cracks first, it will be a yellow chick because the orange egg was blocking the orange and red. I hope this makes sense. This is how I’ve come to understand it. Getting specific color eggs in your nests is a feat in itself lol.

Cindy, the trick with that is to dump the food if the wrong egg wobbles, to protect the egg you want to hatch its own colour.

The chick always goes to the lowest colour of egg it can.  So in your example, with the orange and yellow, red or orange would have to go to the orange egg so if the orange egg wobbles first, you'd want to dump the food and try again until the yellow egg wobbles, since that could only be a yellow chick.

It's either dump the food, or have to keep trying to get another egg of the same colour to replace it, and dumping the food is easier :)
