Hi Dominique - the upper elementary kids were very undisicplined when they returned after Covid lockdown.  They did not want to work or follow classroom rules. they were rude and physically agressive to each other. The younger ones just were socially behind.  I remember one dance mom telling me that when she took her 2 year old shopping for the 1st time after lock down the kid was amazed and confused.  But, remmember they didn't do play groups, library, church kids room, preschool...they were very different.  I see more "normal" behaviour in my 3- yr olds students now, but my 6 yr olds are still a bit hesitant about new things and new people.

The orange ones, very big and bright
Prevent my leg cramps in the night.
Such an array of brilliant pills
Helping to cure all kinds.
But what I'd really like to know...
Is what tells each one where to go.

☀️🩰❤️Sunny day today, slept late, trying to find a schedule. 4 more weeks of dance before I close the studio forever, weird to think about.
Hi Dominique -- I'm still a dance teacher! I am having to retire because my husband has Parkinsons and needs more full time care.  This year has seen a steep decline. My bonus daughter helps 2-3 nights a week but she's just had shoulder surgery and everything is difficult now.  so...retiring...I think it's probably time, but I do love the children so much that I will really miss it.  I was also a full time substitute teacher in elementary school for 16 years - daytime school, night time studio.I left that teaching 3 years ago, and really don't miss it, the after covid kids were terrible
