Oh heavens Pat! I hope your hand of feeling ok today! Those dog claws are dangerous, Zeus paws at me all the time, it’s impossible to break him of it and he leaves huge welts and has broken the skin once. Take care of that now, make sure to watch it in case you get an infection. On the lighter side, I imagine your sister in law and kids were happy to see you!
Zeus left a present for my sister Lorraine this morning, she called me when I was on my way home to let me know he pooped on the floor in her living room. I was horrified! She laughed. Zeus gets so high strung when he’s there that he just doesn’t know what to do, he doesn’t give cues to what he needs and is always full steam ahead. He kinda makes me crazy when I have to take him. Lol!

Just in bed here. Had been looking forward to watching the second part of Call the Midwife, but kept falling asleep. Sneezing for England still, bought a blackcurrant Lemsip to bed with me. Night Godbless x

Good afternoon sprinkle!
The weather was lovely yesterday, it was beautiful and sunny and my drive down to Cherhill was great! I quite enjoyed it actually! 
It was a nice Christmas with the family, the turkey dinner mom made was awesome as always, she’s a fabulous cook! We all got lots of visiting in with each other and caught up on all the family gossip.
This morning was early and fast. I got up just before 7 and took Zeus out for a walk, I can only use a leash when I’m there as Zeus has no recall and only comes back in his own sweet time. Then James came home because he’s on night shift. We had a nice visit and when he went to bed I packed up and went to my sister Lorraine’s for a quick cup of coffee then loaded up and came home as it had started snowing pretty hard. Thankfully 1/2 way home the snow stopped and the rest of the drive home was good. I even went all the way into town and got a burger, fries, drink and a salad, no cooking today for me! Haha! Now it’s snowing pretty hard again! I’m happy that I’m home and all settled on the couch. The chickens made out just great over night on their own! Good to know I can go for an over night once in a while without worrying about them, it’s a relief!
