Yeah best to take your time, If it gets to much for you maybe look at another project you would like to do. It is a big decision doing reno's. And can be costly, thats why i chose to do what i did. sell up buy the block and build new to my likings :) xxx You will figure it all out in time xxx

you can google before and after pics on google to see what each type come up like they both look ok, but if it was me id go pain cause if you ever do sell, and the person want to change things vinyl would be very hard to paint over. plus could bubble up if not done properly. xx

Hi Kathy, yeah they can be sanded and painted, that would be cheaper to do than putting vinyl over them. And like you said vinyl yuk!! you probably get the quotes tomorrow or monday. xx
