Mnd you before those broken ankles, i was on 2 vitamin d caps a day, eating healthy, doing regular exercise, walking etc and still had weak bones. I have arthritis, in my fingers my spine, and sadly there is nothing we can do about it, we will all get it at some stage. I think we inherit a lot from our parents.

I was osteoporosis, i had fractured both ankles 8 months apart, started the injections just over 3 years ago, and i am like i said osteopenic now, but when i asked the doctor does that mean we can stop the injections he said no way cause you can go back the other with in 6 months.. Sadly you can have a fall and break a hip or leg at any age, we have a local lady that gave Jess a call this morning as Jess takes her bins out every week since she lost her hubby a few weeks before Kur passed away due to her having bad shoulders, she is in her 70s had a fall 2 weeks ago and broke her pelvis.

i think theres other meds with a lot worse side effects, but if it helps and you dont have any i dont think theres a risk. I always check with my gp even over the counter meds..

over 3 years and now, and its prolia, and ive had no side effects. and these are the only side effects it can give but not necessarily will.
Can include low calcium (hypocalcemia), flu-like symptoms, or rare risks like osteonecrosis of the jaw or atypical femur fractures.
