Morning Kathy, just a quick drop in so i can shower before i head down to start helping set up cooking etc, oh ok about the CGT, i know we had to pay 30K when we sold our first home we bought, i know its based on from the price you paid to the profit you get when you sell. i know our first home we bought we paid 87K in 1987, then we bought the home in Shelford in 1997, and we sold the first home in 2013 which had been rented out, for 340k i think it was so they deducted the price we paid, for the price we got, and had 30k CGT to pay.
