oh ok,  used to do home care in a house that had one of those in the wall vacuums, It was horrible and so heavy dragging the super long hose through the house. And it wasn't a small house either!

ducted heating is a lot more expensive than gas heating. our electricity is double here compared to using 3 split systems in our old house.. If i had an option to use gas for heating id have that anyday over electricity.

i will have ducted reverse cycle heating and cooling, electric, zoned to each room so we can turn certain rooms off.

No we dont have gas in our area, only bottled gas, ad my heating/cooling is ducted through the roof, and can will have room selection i think. Unless something has changed, the ones laying your floors should blend the flooring in with your vents. I would wait till they see the vents first.
