Hello Ed, my gardener arrived at 7:30 this morning. That was a surprise. AS he only had weeding to do he was trying to be quiet thinking that I might still be asleep. I was up but still in my PJ's. Reading back through your old posts I read that Sandra was knitting clothes 'onto' a doll? I am not sure what that means. For a doll I understand. Onto a doll, well, is the doll a knitted doll? I am now putting my knitting into the lounge room once again. Couldn't have it there when the little ones were around. I hope that tou are having a restful sleep.

Morning splash-- mallard ty. We are really no better off than you-- I think about 5 and raining at the moment with temperatures and moisture to rise today. As for the lockers -no sense getting all in a knot about them--a nuisense but these people inherited the mess and they are trying to get all the other messes left behind by the last owner straightened. They seem to be trying and there is some progress on things --will start to get a little pushy in a bit. Tea today so that will give us a nice break I hope and maybe we will be able to get a few problems solved--seems there is a lot of hollering and yelling about a lot of things but as usual it is all individual things and not the overall picture.For instance my problem is not knowing where my stuff is so I can get to it but others are yowling about what peopleput in the recyling dumpsters and the total parking lot is not plowed right or some other little inconveinence. Hope you got your beer bottled and now you can sit back and enjoy it. Have a good day.

Hello Ed,  I'm glad that you had a better sleep last night. I managed to put away all Christmas decorations today. I decided to store most of them in the garage /shed in plastic tubs. Some of them have been stored in a large antique wooden bread box in the past. Not now. I will clean the residue tinsel out of the box tomorrow and give it a rub with bees wax. Then I am not sure what to do with it. Sell it? It always suited the house in Jamieson. Night is slowly falling and the cats are inside wishing they were outside. I am outside enjoying the sound of the surf. Soon to go to bed and continue reading my book. Gardener coming tomorrow and I plan to be out there with him weeding. I hope that you get your beer bottled. Hugs.

Morning splash--It is another -3 and cloudy morning to start the day/ I sometimes think these temperatures are colder than the actual cold temperatures as it is damp at theses. I don't know if the heating has improved or not--it doesn't feel as cold in here but then ass soon as I say that I am cold. Maybe it just depends which way the winds are blowing as I think maybe this summer they need to recock the windows as some of them are drafty. I am going to get busy today and tackle some cleaning as I can't keep putting it off. Still waiting to try and catch someone in the office that can get a key and find my storage locker stuff so I can get them to fetch my old walker down to me..just have to be careful that when I sit on the walker I don't sit too far back and tumble off. Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. The Plumber is a local and yes I am lucky that he came straight away. He was on his way home from Sorrento when I called. He is a regular at the Coffee Shop. And he really doesn't charge a lot. Dinner now done and I am sitting outside listening to the surf. Cats inside and wanting to be outside as it is still light. That is not going to happen as I am looking forward to bed and a book.

Hello ED, admin done. Well I paid the bills but haven't done filing. Phoned my gardener and he is coming Thursday. Phoned a local plumber and he arrived 10 minutes later and fixed an outside tap. He asked me if I had difficulty turning the tap and my answer was yes. He then showed me a tap that is so easy to turn on and off. I told him to install it as my outside tap was so old and difficult for me. Loving my new tap! It is basically plastic so will not be worn out by the sea air. He then chatted with me for awhile. Now I have started cooking dinner. Slowly getting things back in order.
