Morning splash--It is another -3 and cloudy morning to start the day/ I sometimes think these temperatures are colder than the actual cold temperatures as it is damp at theses. I don't know if the heating has improved or not--it doesn't feel as cold in here but then ass soon as I say that I am cold. Maybe it just depends which way the winds are blowing as I think maybe this summer they need to recock the windows as some of them are drafty. I am going to get busy today and tackle some cleaning as I can't keep putting it off. Still waiting to try and catch someone in the office that can get a key and find my storage locker stuff so I can get them to fetch my old walker down to me..just have to be careful that when I sit on the walker I don't sit too far back and tumble off. Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. The Plumber is a local and yes I am lucky that he came straight away. He was on his way home from Sorrento when I called. He is a regular at the Coffee Shop. And he really doesn't charge a lot. Dinner now done and I am sitting outside listening to the surf. Cats inside and wanting to be outside as it is still light. That is not going to happen as I am looking forward to bed and a book.

Hello ED, admin done. Well I paid the bills but haven't done filing. Phoned my gardener and he is coming Thursday. Phoned a local plumber and he arrived 10 minutes later and fixed an outside tap. He asked me if I had difficulty turning the tap and my answer was yes. He then showed me a tap that is so easy to turn on and off. I told him to install it as my outside tap was so old and difficult for me. Loving my new tap! It is basically plastic so will not be worn out by the sea air. He then chatted with me for awhile. Now I have started cooking dinner. Slowly getting things back in order.

Hello ED, I am having a quiet day at home. MUST do my admin. Good news. My cousin did not lose her house. It was only her shed that burned down. The General store next to her burned to the ground. Not good news for the owners. Enjoy your day.

Good morning splash-- it is cloudy but -3 this morning so looks like we may be in for a wet-white week but don't have to go nowhere so will just sit tight. Yes --some conflict with Trump over resulting in Carney closing the border--something about Trump using Canada to get to Greenland and something in there about one world central government--hope Carney has a lead foot when he stomped it down.We are not popular  with Trump at all. It seems with all these cards we have in our wallet something is always going wrong as far as I can see. Have a nice trip to town!!

Hello Ed, once again we are at each other's gate. I have put the dictionary book aside whilst the family were all here. I need to concentrate on it and could not do that whilst little ones were popping into my room. "Nanna what are you doing?" My door was always open for them. I did manage to complete a novel that I finished this morning. 'Tom Lake.' by Anne Patchette. Passed it on to one of the Coffee Club members. Also told a customer about it today as we chatted about books. Not sure that it would be your cup iof tea? Night is slowly falling and my cats are hanging around for their dinner. They have been inside most of the day. I shall go and feed them now and the 3 of us will settle down for the night. I may pick up the Dictionary book again. Good night my friend.

Hello Ed, TY for the White Mouse. What is Cyber Darts? My ping Pong table at Rye buckled as it was outside although under cover. The sea air was the cause. I should have covered it with a tarp. Now my driveway and car port is used for football, basketball and bikes etc.
