Morning splash--Lovebirds ty It is mostly cloudy and -12 here this morning. I am up a little early as I want to get the laundry done--so will go down and take my book to read and get that off the agenda and then I can start on the apartment and maybe have a free weekend to watch sports. Olympics have began for us-- the curling has started early so they can get it all in( there is mens,womens and mixed curling now in the games and some of the qualifying sports  have started and it might be the only chance to see the up and comers.Not sure but I think a urine test only has so many hours window but its is no worries with me as I just do it all at the same time. Tea was nice in that we got all caught up with the going on and I guess they found a valve that was shut when it shouldn't be so that helped with the heating--still not perfect but done feel like I have bundle up just to get out of bed in the morning. They really can't fix things properly without shutting the system down and that would not be good in this weather-so limp along until we have decent weather again. Tea next week is going to be a Valentines High tea(well as high as the lady doing it thinks it will be-- but at least scones and stawberry jam and if she can find it the clotted creame. Hello Ed, I am still learning about the watch. Gosh it is complicated and somewhat heavy on my wrist. I haven't worn a watch for some years. Terase called me today and the watch told me. She was delighted as she told me a week ago that I never seem to answer my phone. True. I am one of those peeps who doesn't bother with having a phone nearby. It is usually in my handbag and I and am often away from it. Now the watch tells me that someone is calling. It will most likely drive me mad.

Hello ED, I  drove to Rosebud this morning and purchased a smart watch. My children really wanted me to get one as it alerts if I have a fall. Given that I live on my own I decided to heed their advice. The Telstra store set it up for me and connected it with my phone. It is not a lovely piece of jewelry but so many people wear them. I now just have to learn all about it. HaHa! Enjoy your day.

Yes it is sunny but back to -13 this morning and yeswe willo go to the deep freeze again for a bit but the good thing about Feb. we seem to get a mixed bag and things seem to improve. It is surprising what you can find frozen --mini pizza are handy as you discovered--I have those plus mini meat pies  and a few other things to rely on. Hope you trip to town goes well and you get to enjoy a coffee out. Have a good day

Hello ED, me again, re. Rolfe Harris, he was quite good at painting with a huge brush. I recall seeing him painting a portrait  of Queen Elizabeth. And as a youngster I loved his TV shows. Unfortunately he was exposed as a pedophile. Found guilty. EEEKKK!

Hello Ed, I managed to stake up my tomatoes so that the fruit can see the sun. Took me awhile to find the twine that I needed. I did get all excited this afternoon when I saw that fig tree has a small budding fruit on it. Hmmm, the birds will most likely get it as they do my olives. I filled my bird baths as it is getting warmer again. Re. Salmon. I LOVE fried salmon with the skin on and lots of salt and pepper. Tomorrow I plan to go to Rosebud to a Telstra Store to buy an Apple Watch that connects to my phone and will alert people if I have a fall. My brother wants me to get one as I live alone. My plumber showed me his and when I met him the other day he asked me if I had got one yet. It seems a sensible thing to do. So that is tomorrow's task. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, we also had chicken wings at the shared art group luncheon and I have last night's left overs to eat as well. So I will be over chicken wings for awhile. I hope that your freezer is working. What does Sandra eat when you are feasting on frozen dinners? Does she also eat them? I am now going to check my tomatoes and then reheat my dinner.
