Hello Ed, dinner now done. It was a frozen Chicken Kiev with mash and veggies. I did sit outside for awhile listening to the surf but when night fell I went back inside and the cats followed. I am going to Mum's tomorrow. Hayley getting a new puppy? I loved my dogs, Buster and Miss Cash, however I do not intend getting another one. Hard enough with the cats. I did think that Mungo, cat,  would be my last pet, however my friend Lynne gifted? me Mindy. And she is much younger than Mungo. Oh well, Mindy has wormed her way into my heart. Both Mungo and Mindy wish that they were my only cat. They do not like each other. Almost my bedtime. Enjoy your day!

Hello Ed, TY for the Lovebirds and Sunlight seed. So you knew Evelyn through a friend of yours and not really F/Land? Today at the Oppie more books arrived from the book collecter and once again I had to bin at least 10 of them due to book cancer. It WAS a complete set of Britania's 'Great Books.' Then I had to find shelving for them and that was not easy however I eventually managed. The Jigsaws and games have sold well during the week at a heavily reduced price. Now to get support for heavily reducing the recipe books. Enjoy your new day.

Morning splash--field mouse and pink ty-- Dinner last night went really well--best turnout we have had all year of course when there is something like that a lot show up. There of course was so much food that I don't think even the army could make a  dent in it and of course came home well stuffed.. Today we are getting new thresholds on the door coming in from the hall but I can safely bet that it won't be and better to get in and out over. Today will be my usual chores day  as I have fallen a little behind on them(didn't feel like doing much Tuesday when I got back and then it is catch up for a number of  days to get back to where I started. Getting things clear will maybe let you start new and know what you have and not be finding little goodies in the cupboards(re: the spam) Have a good day.

Hello Ed, I perhaps knew and have forgotten that you have a friend connected with Evelyn. So you and Evelyn have been friends for many years on F/Land. As her garden is frozen I have no way of connecting with her. Sad. I am pleased that you and I have another way of connecting re. Facebook. Well dinner is done. Reheated leftovers. Cats inside, heater on as it is so cold. I am looking forward to going to bed and reading a book or perhaps watch something on Netflix. My latest book is not grabbing me. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, no news from Evelyn. Sad. I harvested my late tomatoes today. Just back from giving my neigbour some of them. I think that they are late due to the fence my neighbour put up. Not enough sunshine! I will have to relocate my stand up garden. Not sure where? Night has fallen here and it is only 16 minutes to 6. I am at the time of writing to you outside on the porch enjoying the sound of the surf. Cats want to be inside so I will also go inside. Enjoy your day!

Morning splash-- Bee eater. It is sunny and 10 this morning, so all the storms missed us. Rain last evening but not big winds or tornados here. Yesterday was a total frustration. I had to go up to the hospital for bloodwork and a CT scan--First it is the long way around because the bridge is closed for repairs,then when I do get in it took 3 nurses 5 tries to get the needle in so it worked right. With theses blood thinners I am on now,get the needle in and the vein  explodes and we have a big bruise form(I look like my arms where is some sort of a fight(big bruises) but got upstairs for my CT scan and because I have the IV needle in I got to jump the line. Done early .phone for a cab--takes forever to get there and then the driver didn't know the bridge was close and tried to go that way only to turn around and go the long way again. I was able to relax and get a few things done when I got home. Weather was into the 30's so after supper came the weather  warnings of rain,high winds and the chance of tornados--we only got a good rain!!!! Glad to hear the food shop went well.I guess you just have to be ready for what ever mood Sandra is in each day and maybe not offering to many choices is the best way to go. Have a good day--no tea today we are out to the restaurant tonight for supper.

Hello Ed, dinner now done. It was ok. Too cold to go out on the porch tonight. I actually have my heating on. I will soon be in bed. My latest book not really gripping me. Today at art group I sat next to a younger woman who I have never connected with before and I am so happy that I did. She loves reading as much as i do. I over heard her telling another artist that she had just read 'Wild Dark Shore.' My ears pricked up as I have just recently read that book and loved it! And then a lot of people in the room became interested some making notes about the book. I also mentioned 'Small Things' So it seems that not only are we an art group, we also talk about books. I love it! NoW I REALLY must go to bed! Enjoy your day!
