Ty for the duckies xx

Morning splash-- mallard ty the sun is out and it is 15 to begin the day. Supposed to be good weather today which is nice when I go for groceries. The Kitchen table and chairs are the ones to go out of here because they are too short for me--if I try and sit on the chair its feels like I am trying to get down to stool height and then with no arms on the chair it is hard to get up(the table is too low too.) I did spend most of yesterday between all the golf and I am afrais except for the womens it got a little confusing as to who and what tournament they were playing.It is a fast changing leader board. Hope you can have a nice time and visit today and all goes well. Rushing a bit  before Kevin gets here will have a full report tomorrow.

Hello Ed, TY for the Bee Eater and PD. For your family lunch Pizza would be great! Tracey is so good offering to do some shopping for the lunch. Does Sandra connect with the children? I have now done most of my washing. Not the greatest weather for drying it. Happily I have a dryer to finish it off if needs be. I am now waiting for Mungo to come back inside and then I will be off to bed to continue reading the Adrian Mole book about the prostate years. Lynne is now calling me so I will go. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, Arja and family decided to leave a day early as they decided that they need a quiet day at home before the working week starts. I totally understood. 8 y.o. Chace totally frightened them yesterday as they were walking to my beach by rushing across the road and causing a car to slam on its brakes. They told me that it was a near miss and Arja wondered that I had not heard her scream. I didn't. They live in a quiet village outside of Mansfield and the children do not experience heavy traffic. The traffic on that beach road is crazy and the local council are planning to put a crossing in near the coffee shop that leads to the beach. All of us locals are saying that it is long over due as the National Park and beach is quite popular. Despite that near accident I had a lovely time with them all. Arja, Charlie and I enjoyed a number of games of UNO last night. Charlie and I are quite competitive. I hope that you enjoy the Sue Townsend books. They are funny. I noticed that she has written one called 'Camilla.' I will have to look that up. Fairly sure that it will be a send up. Enjoy your new day.

Morning splaash-- a little dull and decent temperatures today. We got some heavy rains but never heard a thing but I guess dull day and I will have to get at some cleaning as apparently the switch of kitchen table and chairs may be later tomorrow,I keep trying to do things but it seems one step forward and 2 steps back in here lately. The leak under the kitchen sink is not there now unless I fill both sinks and then the pressure pushes out water. But he tightened everything and if it leaks again then he will order new stuff. Service has been great and both the guys that came played with Sagwa for a good while so --happy cat. Kevin is off down to the garage at the farm as its much easier to lay on concrete that a gravel driveway in the rain. I think that this is new to them with you having to take charge as sometimes we don't see what is right in front of us until all of a sudden it is a proble--I am sure things will ease off and soon Sausage will be busy with a baby.Hang in there as things could get worse and probably some days will be. Have a good day. I have been flipping between the mens(yes Sheffler is there) and the womens US Open.

Hello ED, no the children do not wake me early, they are respectfully quiet in the morning. I usually wake with the rising sun so there is no clash. They do peep in as my bedroom door is open for the cats. I am usually awake but pretend to be asleep until I am ready to get up. You certainly do need a light read. I have just started a funny one by Sue Townsend. Years ago she wrote a book, 'The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole.' It is about a young boy reaching puberty and was quite funny. Set in England. She has written quite a few about Adrian Mole as he grew up. All in diary form. If you haven't read the first one I suggest that you do if you can find a copy. Also read 'The Prostrate Years." Sue Townsend also wrote a funny novel about H. M and Prince Phillip having to move into a council estate. If have forgotten why. However a light hearted read. Arja and her family have just left for a walk to the back beach so I have taken this moment to play here. Enjoy your day.
