splashed--Well it will be nose to the grindstone today and hopefully good enough weather I can get off to the store tomorrow. I still have to make my list but I hope everyone else doesn't have the same idea as me or I will get frustrated and just say thats it and go get some more gift certificates. We will have our tea supper on Wed. and I guess just hope that only those who are supposed to come are there and hope I got through to the lady doing the ordering got the message that we don't all want the same(I would rather baked potato than mashed as someone said they taste boxed ones and if I get a choice its white meal and not dark) we shall see how it goes but worst case I put it back in its box and make soup or something later. Off to get the day going--Have a good time in town.

Hello ED, yes the shooting at Bondi was / is shocking! People on the radio keep saying that it un Australian. They have short memories as the first settlers killed many Aboriginies. I feel so sad for the people of the Jewish faith.  It was the first day of Hannukah, The festival of Light. I have a small Menorah but I dont think I have any candles to fit it. If I find them I will light on each day. In Grade 3 at Steiner Schools we teach the Old Testment stories. I always loved the celebration of Jewish festivals. On a lighter note I am glad that you had a wonderful time with your family yesterday. I love your fake Christmas costume. I have put my lower back out so I am having trouble finishing the cleaning for Shnnon and Co's arrival later today. Happily I managed to get an appointment with a physio tomorrow. Frank the owner of the shop at No. 16 gave me her number and she is not too far away. Didn't go to the Monday Coffee Club or the Op shop today due to my back. I will try vaccuuming but not hopeful. Morning splash--field mouse ty The sun has just broke through and it is -11,a little cold but not as bad as they were talking about the arrctic air that is coming out way. Yes,I look very picky at a lot of these dinner type things as my plate looks half empty compared to some others,but I noticed even Kevin is slowing down on the amount of food he takes. I am taking a me day today--laid in bed this morning and petted Sagwa then cooked me a breakfast of an omelet and toast and now doing the gardens in a leisurly pace. Today I will just feed me and Sagwa and go back to everything tomorrow and then Tues will go see if I can get finished with the rest of the shopping and then wrapping(although I have been doing the bags more and more. Have a good day

Hello Ed, that is a funny story about Little Ed. Reminds me of a school family from Mansfield. The father of the little boy said, "I have to go and get something. I will be back in a fews secs. Let your Mum know." The little boy then found his mother and asked, "What is secs / sex?" The mother sighed and then tried to explain it to him as she had always vowed to answer questions honestly. She then went into a bit of detail about how babies are made. Her son was looking puzzled so she asked him why was he asking? Her son then told her that his Dad had told him to tell her that he would be back in a few secs. True story. Enjoy your day.
