Hello Ed, TY for the Golden Dragon. Shannon arrives Sunday. Yes, it is sad when a family pet dies. That must have terrible for you so soon after your father's passing. Re. your dream.... I know that you are worried about Tracey. Are you also worried about money either for Tracey or yourself? Sorry that's the best I can come up with. We are having high winds here and last night one of my trees fell over. No damage to buildings. I will wait until the new week to get it removed. I have a feeling that the tree loppers are working overtime due to the wind. And I don't want to pay weekend rates. I cant get into the Lee Child book and it is interesting as Diane's son, Kevin, told me that he also struggled with the same one. So I might just give it up as I have so many books waiting to be read. Enjoy your day.

splashed-- Instead of the Perils of Pauline we have the Trials of Ed. or something==but you tried and having to carry in help to accomplish a reasonable end seems to work- Glad the door is fixed and all your valuble stuff is  safe once again. Glasses should be ready in a week(probably longer because this is the long weekend Labour Day) Off to get the rest of my stuff done Kevin will be over again because a lot of stuff is on sale at the grocery store that I want. My mum and dad were bikers, but i was not allowed one. Not even a pushbike! I thought about getting one when I grew up but never did.
Racing should start in an hour, hopefully.

Hello Ed, gosh that was an expensive repair job. There is something to be said about taking up a trade! We once had Technical Colleges here where the students learned trades. Now we seem to be more focussed on University Education. However the 'tradies' seem to make more money. Home again after working at the Op shop. I was not surprised that my work on the shop shelves remained as I left it on Monday. It was a quiet day re. customers and donations so I continued where I had left off. I now only have ABC authors to sort and I have run out of shelves. It is curious just how many author's surnames start with the first 3 letters of the alphabet. And a funny thing, I found a pile of children's novels just shoved in front of the picture books. One book was how to cure Arthritus. Not sure that many children would be interested in that. Who knows, perhaps a budding doctor? HaHa. Enjoy your day.
