splashed--Sun is shining but it is still cool and early in the morning for me. Got used to sleeping in another couple of hours but got to go see the doctor this morning then I am free for a week I hope--so far all clear next week. Its funny how different people interpret things differently. What seems nothing to you is really in their bad books  but other things just drift by--but as you say the penelty is in the summer. Tea was good yesterday--a pre-easter one with a lot of goodies to eat and a good crowd with interesting conversations. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, not sure where my long letter to you went? I will try again sometime soon. The original Bass player in LRB was only 71 years old when he died the other day. Sad. Not sure where my letter to you went but someone on FB has seen it because suddenly I am getting messages/ ads about senior dating. I wrote about recalling names and meeting a chap called Bob most mornings as we met each other on our walks. My letter to you was how I recall names by association and Bob got that when I told him. Now we greet each other by name. Oh and the other thing that I wrote was that I had a peaceful day with the cats but ended up having to use my growly voice once they were inside for the night. Now sitting outside writing to you, listening to the surf and a Thunder Storm. It is still quite warm here. Hugs

Hello Ed, I was typing a long letter to you and it  vanished. It was all about remembering names. As I was trying to recover it I noticed on FB that ine of the original members of Little River Band  has passed away. I will explore that and get back to you. Hugs.

Hello ED, I am pleased that you are enjoying the book. Not sure that I can identify a character that is like Mum or myself. Although I certainly can identify with the worries of growing older. Perhaps you are like the gentle and friendly Brian? Re my teacher's voice. It was not like the voice I used on the cats. That was a cross shouty voice and one that I would never use on children. I actually surprised myself. However it must have worked on the cats as they reeled in their anger at each other. Today they are calmer. I had the gardener here this morning and then drove to the Supermarket to purchase food for my guests tomorrow. It was madness trying to find a carpark. Then in the supermarket people had trolleys full of groceries. Anyone would think that the store would be closed over the entire Easter and not just Good Friday. Happily my corner store will be open in the morning so I can get my coffee and anything else that I may have forgotten. Hmmm, such as milk, butter and toilet paper. I may have to drive around the corner in the morning and must make a list. Enjoy your day.
