Hello Ed, we are once again at each others gate. Shannon and Amira are in Hong kong on a business trip where Amira wants to get a shoe idea happening. Shannon is there looking after little Jesse. It was also meant to be a holiday as well. Unfortunately when they arrived in Hong Kong they were trapped, in their hotel due to a force 10 hurricane. They were not happy chappies. Now they are in China and will go to Japan next week. Like you I have never been to China but would love to go there. Re, Japan I went there when LRB were playing there. We were only there for a week. Shannon was 7 y.o. at the time. Sarah was under 1 y.o. and has no of memory of it. I loved Japan. Not that I saw much of it. It was a Band Tour and we were well looked after. I well remember being on a speed train to Kyoto and seeing Mount Fuji. That was impressive. I loved walking around the Japanese gardens and ponds. Sarah was quite a hit there and many people stopped me to take a photo of her. They told me that she looked like a Cupie Doll. I ended up buying a Cupie doll, but it is now in the toy box and not a part of my doll collection. Haha, you think that you can waffle on. I can as well. Enjoy your day. Now I must GO TO BED!

Hello Ed TY for the P-p. Re Jason and my daughter Hope, I do wonder what their thinking is? I am not sure what I will do with the doll collection? I will speak to my son Shannon about it when he gets home from China and Japan in a week or so. Meanwhile I had my car serviced today and the owner of the business drove me home when I delivered the car and picked me up when the job was done. Now that is great service! No charge for the driving. I then spent the afternoon knitting as it was too cold to do anything outside and I really could be bothered with inside chores. I watched silly game shows as I knitted. Now dinner is done and I am looking forward to bed and a book. I think that I have to read another book as the one I am currently reading is about WW2. I need something lighter. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, re. dolls. No one in the family wants them. SAD. And Hope told me rather cruelly, that I should sell them now as they will just go to landfill when I die. I protested and pointed out the German antique doll and told her that the doll is worth over $1000.  She just shrugged and told me that none of the family have time to deal with them. Sometimes she can be so thourghtless. SIGH

I spent a lot of this afternoon knitting. Now dinner done and I am getting ready for bed and a book. I have to get my act together early tomorrow to take my car in for a service. HUGS

Hello Ed, hmmm Sandra searching for the cats? Was this after Tracey had picked them up? Worried. Re. postcards yes I always sent them. Now we all send photos on line. It has been a cold day here. I emptied out my car for tomorrow's service. Got in contact with another school nearby re donating good books. The closest one to me does not take donations. Their loss. The school that I contacted today was delighted to accept the books. The books were donated to the op shop and we have too many. I put aside books that I kow childre will enjoy. Then spent the afternoon knitting and watching quiz shows. Enjoy your day.
