 The Garden Wall

Morning splash-- It is slightly foggy this morning  but 6.6. It really does not make a difference to me other than the scenery outside. Why do they make the opening for the quilt to get in and out of--just to annoy you,but I guess so it inadvertingly doesn't slide out when you don't want it to. I am still close companions of a machine but getting used to it. Don't hear the weird noise much anymore unless I actually stop and listen. Going to plan a big expedition today--no one here but me co will try to get the garbage down and out. It is all flat and cement out there so should be easy!!!Have a good day

Hello Ed, once again we are at each other's gate. So good. Once again you gave me a great idea. I have a large , long chalkboard under my  car parking area. I also have large painting brushes that could be used to clean off the chalk drawings. It is covered in old chalk drawings. Fairly sure that I could enlist Sarah's Michael to sand it back as it needs it. He loves having a task. Then we can re paint it with chalkboard paint. The children may enjoy that.
The sun is almost setting and the cats are hanging around wanting dinner. So I will soon be inside dealing with them and oreparing txo snuggle in bed. Enjoy your new day.

Haha Ed. re changing quilt covers. Sometimes I think that I could be lost inside one. It doesn't help that Mungo always wants to join in on the fun. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Edn ty for the White Mouse. Your Dad was certainly creative. My Dads brother was an artist. I have a painting of his hanging in my lounge room. Uncle Max also painted huge murals on the wall of his home. When I was little he always gave my brother and I art marterials for Christmas. One year he gave us some beautiful chalks. While the grown ups were enjoying drinks after Christmas dinner I went outside and drew all over the garage wall which was most likley asbestos. I chose the wall that couldn't be seen from the house. The neighbours would have been able to see it. I cannot recall if I roped my brother in or not. On the long drive home I started feeling guilty. Perhaps I should not have done that. I never heard anything about it so either rain washed it  away or Uncle Max stood up for me.

Morning splash-- field mouse and pink ty I don't know if it is usual but yesterday when the nurse came she total redid putting on the vac dressing and seen as she didn't get here until late I was not able to go down for tea and introduce them to another wonder of medicine. It seemed to be making a lot of noises but apparently no doing what it was supposed to. So we are now rehooked up and it is still making weird noises., It is -2 and clean and sunny this morning but there is a call for rain tomorrow so it better warm up or we will have a mess, Glad the beer got safely to where it was supposed to be without incident but its still got to get to the bottle. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, Piers Morgan rings a bell just cannot place him at the moment. I loved the video of you playing with your little one. I had a tree lopper here to quote on the work. I am impressed by his knowledge of native species and weed trees. He was impressed by back garden. It seems that I have a few OLD native trees that he doesn't want to touch. "Dianne, you have a mini rain forrest." Strangely it is also the part of my garden that I love looking out at. He walked all around the garden speaking about the trees that are weeds, or dead and the trees that must be kept, we walked towards my gate. When we came to my large verandah he asked me if I am an artist as many if Brian's paintings are hanging outside. I told him they were Brian's. He then stopped in front of one and told me that he loved it. He asked many questions about it. I told him he could take it. His eyes widened "Oh no Dianne, I cannot." Me, "If you really love it you can have it. Any paintings leaning against walls outside are destined for charity shops. If you love it, take it. I want it to go to someone who will love it" His eyes grew wider with surprise. He did take it and kept thanking me as he walked to his car. That was a feel good moment for me and I am sure that Brian was smiling down.
